Jakhira means a tremendous amount of treasure or an old minor palace built 250 years ago. Previously it was a huge old palace but late in 1979’s due to a flood, the village drowned and the whole palace turned into debris. That’s when Mr. Rajendra Singh decided to reconstruct from the debris left over. He did not purchase any Market material. Still, one-half of Jakhira is completed and another part is under construction.

Colorful clothing, heavy ornaments, and designer dresses aren't just their fancy, but it is what define their identity, their status- social and economic, their religion, and their region.

Rajasthan is famous for its rich culture. Not the royal palaces or the lakes but the outfits! The first thing that pops into my mind is the traditional dress of Rajasthan.
